Background

A large manufacturing site required the installation of a comprehensive CCTV security system to enhance security measures while reducing on-site security personnel to day shift coverage only. The solution needed to include site wide CCTV surveillance, intruder alarms, and PA horns for communication to ensure 24/7 protection without the need for constant staff presence.

Challenges

The primary challenge was the sheer scale of the site, which required extensive coverage. Additionally, the lack of existing data cabling for external CCTV cameras posed a significant hurdle in ensuring seamless connectivity across the entire premises.

Solution

To overcome these challenges, EMS FM Group installed the latest point-to-point wireless transmitters, enabling long-range data transmission without the need for extensive cabling. This cutting-edge technology provided reliable data transfer across the large site. Alongside this, a trusted intruder alarm system was installed to further enhance the site’s security infrastructure.

The project was completed successfully, delivering full nighttime security coverage without the need for on-site personnel.
