Urgent Roof Repair for Busy Fast-Food Chain

Background

A popular fast-food chain required urgent roof repairs to stop a leak affecting the store’s main entrance. The gulley area needed specialist repair work and repainting with rubberised paint to prevent further water ingress. Fast action was essential to ensure the store could continue operating without compromising customer or employee safety.

Challenges

The repair needed to be carried out quickly and safely, with minimal disruption to the store’s day-to-day operations. However, limited access to the roof and its significant height posed additional challenges to completing the job within the urgent timeframe.

Solution

To overcome the access challenges, we collaborated with our affiliates at Tyne & Wear Access, who were able to provide a specialist lifter at short notice. This allowed our team to safely reach the gulley area, carry out the necessary repairs, and repaint the surface using rubberised paint to restore water resistance.

Outcome

The leak was repaired quickly and efficiently, preventing further waterlogging at the store’s entrance. The store remained open throughout the works, ensuring business continuity and keeping both customers and employees safe. This solution not only fixed the immediate issue but also provided a long-lasting, protective finish to prevent future leaks.
