The Elephant Pub, Ashington

Waste Clearance Project

Background

The Elephant Pub in Ashington had been left in extremely poor condition by the previous tenant, requiring a full waste removal service before the new tenants could begin their renovation works. A quick turnaround was essential to keep the project on track.

Challenges

The project posed several challenges, with the most significant being strict parking restrictions in the area, which prevented the use of traditional skips for waste removal. This required a more flexible and efficient approach to complete the job within the required timeframe.

Solution

To overcome these challenges, EMS deployed a dedicated team of waste removal operatives, supported by banksmen and vans to safely and efficiently transport the waste without the need for skips. This approach ensured minimal disruption to the surrounding area while adhering to all safety and environmental regulations.

Outcome

The project was completed on time, with all waste safely removed and disposed of responsibly. The solution not only met the client’s tight deadlines but also demonstrated EMS’s ability to provide tailored solutions in complex environments – helping the new tenants begin their renovation works without delay.
